Message from the Founder


Thank you for visiting the Think FOOD and JAPAN homepage.

Through many years of food industry experience at a general trading company, I have become keenly aware of the importance of sharing the qualities of Japan's wonderful food culture and the unrivalled standard of Japanese food products.

Think FOOD and JAPAN was established in February 2023 with an aim to contribute to the Japanese food industry by bolstering international networks and enhancing strategic branding. Moreover, amid a decline in the primary industry, lack of successors in agricultural regions, and increasing crop damage due to natural disasters, we strive to showcase the true quality of Japanese food to other nations and beyond. We aim to pave the way for a bright future for the leaders of tomorrow.

Thinking of Japan through food, and with Japan’s food industry representatives, we proudly present the rich traditions of Japanese food culture. We will continue to make the utmost effort to contribute to the Japanese food industry, and we thank you for supporting Think FOOD and JAPAN.

Participation in The 48th International Food and Beverage Exhibition FOODEX JAPAN 2023

As a member of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), Think FOOD and JAPAN participated in FOODEX JAPAN 2023, Asia’s largest international food and beverage exhibition.


Participation in The 40th Japan Int’l Franchise Show 2023

Together with food service operators from Hong Kong, Think FOOD and JAPAN participated in the Japan Int’l Franchise Show 2023 at Tokyo Big Sight.


Supporting Japanese agricultural producers with ASIAGAP

On February 27th (Mon) and 28th (Tue), ASIAGAP hosted a two-day conference introducing Japanese agricultural businesses to clients in Hong Kong.


Supporting import of regional food products into Hong Kong

Think FOOD and JAPAN has started supporting over 10 regional food producers and manufacturers to import their products into Hong Kong in collaboration with local authorities.
